Roger Hill, Songwriter

Roger Hill has been a songwriter since the age of 10 when he first composed a harmony for “Silent Night” sung at his church. In his native country of England, Roger won the equivalent of the US Grammy and was honored for “outstanding contribution to British popular music.”

Roger’s career as a songwriter spans writing/performing several dance hits in a band with his brother under contract with a London-based record label to becoming a commercial jingle writer for companies such as Cadbury’s Chocolates to producing and writing for an R&B band to creating station idents for Virgin Media Group and finally a move to Tennessee to focus entirely on writing country music songs.

Roger’s work then caught the attention of legendary writer Roger Cook (7 #1 country hits and member of the Country Hall of Fame) who was the person who encouraged Roger to come and work in Nashville. Roger has become a strong, new talent in the Nashville music scene.
