Son of a Baptist preacher, Dan Isbell grew up in Savannah, TN and has been writing music since the age of 13. He plays guitar, piano and recently picked up the fiddle.
Gary Nichols
Playing the guitar since age six, Gary Nichols made a name for himself in the music business alone and as a member of The Steeldrivers.
Skip Black
Accomplished songwriter Skip Black wrote Eden’s Edge latest hit “Amen” and has a cut on Craig Morgan’s latest album. Skip writes for Sony ATV.
Reba McEntire has been nominated for two American Country Awards. She’s a contender for the Single of the Year: Female and Music Video: Female for“Turn On Your Radio,” co-written by Flat Earth Music’s Mark Oakley. The song was a #1 record-breaking hit for Reba in early 2011.

On April 11, 2011 Reba McEntire, the songwriters and music publishers were honored for their #1 hit, “Turn On the Radio” by ASCAP. This hit was a milestone for both Reba and Flat Earth Music’s songwriter, Mark Oakley. “Turn On the Radio” was Reba’s 35th number one hit tying her with Dolly Parton by most number one hits by a female country artist. And the song marked the first number one hit for songwriter Mark Oakley and Flat Earth Music.
Flat Earth Music was presented with a plaque by ASCAP for this great achievement. In addition, Flat Earth honored several people, including Reba, with commemorative plaques.
