Les Rawlins, born and raised in the Texas panhandle, started playing guitar at age 9 and started writing songs around the age of 14. Les started sitting in with bands when he was 18. At 26, Les started and fronted his own band playing in North Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
By the time Les turned 29, he was tired of playing in a traveling band and decided to move to Nashville to pursue a songwriting career. It took him a little more than a year to sign his first of four writing deals. Les has written with Mark Oakley, Dick Kaiser, Steve Hood, Jerry Audley, Ash Underwood, Tony Stampley, Tom Botkin and numerous other writers over the years. Les has cuts by Californian Victor Sanz, Gabbie Nolan and Texas artist Jerry Audley. With his wife Beverly and their three children, Les lives in Kingston Springs, TN.
